Definitely it is so. But I wouldnt think that it is quite an easy area. If you want to create some professional CV solution for your business I would like to recommend working with some dedicated team. That`s why read reviews, go through portfolios, check this article https://hqsoftwarelab.com/blog/computer-vision/. I`m pretty sure you`ll take the best decision. Good luck

I think so. Almost all computer vision projects are using fancy nets (YOLO, Inception, RestNet etc.), and people are coming up with even fancier nets (Capsule net).

I once did a fingerprint recognition application using only filters, lots of image processing techniques and similarity measures. It still worked, but the performance was far poorer in almost all metrics compared to Deep Learning models.

Is computer vision all about deep learning now? How can we hire some specialists in computer vision?
